It's funny how some things are truly universal. There are leftover boarding passes in countless books on my shelves. Sometimes I'm surprised by them and sometimes I purposefully grab a book just to remind myself of another time. I can't wait to go to New York, Boston and Connecticut this summer! Now I just need to make sure I don't end up taking borrowed books on the planes...
PS- I hate the eticket; it's convenient but they steal your printed piece of paper when boarding (not like I wanted to keep it, but still...).
I do the SAME thing!!! I leave reciepts or maps or tickets (OR anytying that reminds me of a wonderful adventure I had) in books and take them out every so often. It seriously brightens my day and reminds me to appreciate the little things in life. ***sigh***** Good times. :)
